The Inspiration
for Starseed

Spring Rayne is a Mind-Body-Soul Holistic Health Coach, two-time published author, a Medium, Health Intuitive and Healer, a gluten-free, vegan, raw food chef, Master Herbalist, Nutrition Coach, and Karuna Reiki Master. She is the author of two cookbooks: Eat Conscious and Be Merry and Healthy Family, Happy Family. She is the creator of Holistic Naturals by Spring Rayne, a 100% organic, wild-crafted fair-trade line of herbal products that help with everything from insomnia, pain relief and detoxification to increased energy and hormonal support.

Spring Rayne is the founder and visionary behind Starseed Holistic School, where the basis for learning is creativity, independent thinking, passion, exploration and all the good stuff that gets standardize tested right out of our kids.

Spring sees children as holistic beings made up of mind, body and spirit; naturally curious and full of wonder. It was and still is Spring’s intention from the very start to create a school that supports a child’s curious nature holistically; mind, body and spirit.

Her vision is to create a school that is focused on whole brain learning, holistic health and wellness, character-building and consciousness, while honoring a range of intelligence in the student body and teaching social responsibility.

Spring is intensely passionate about teaching people how to take better care of their minds, bodies and spirits. She has helped many clients heal themselves from a wide variety of dis-eases, from insomnia to lupus. She’s witnessed how difficult it is to teach adults to change their lifestyle habits so that they take better care of themselves in order to heal.

As a result, she believes that it’s critical to instill healthy habits
early on in childhood as well as create an environment that honors
the child holistically – and teaches them to honor themselves, too.

In February 2012, Spring was diagnosed with four different kinds of cancer. This diagnosis led her on a journey of self-healing. Using healing herbs and implementing a gluten-free, vegan raw food diet combined with, meditation and visualization she transformed her health, and ultimately her life. Just 3 short months later she was cancer-free.

Through this experience Spring was affirmed in what she already knew; that the body CAN heal itself…as long as you are able to “get out of the way” and remove the obstacles to healing – mind, body & soul.

This experience awakened in her, her true purpose – to help people take responsibility for their health and well-being so they can live their best life – vibrant, full, and happy!

As a child, Spring always struggled in school. She was very smart but didn’t obtain information the same way as other children did. She was a much deeper person than any of her peers and had a lot of spiritual gifts, so she was often misunderstood.

As a child, she didn’t quite understand being an empath and psychic healer. She just knew that she wasn’t the same as the other kids. Growing up in a strong Christian background and attending a Christian school, many viewed her gifts with fear and misunderstanding and so she was programmed that her abilities were a curse, as her gifts always got her into trouble. Not to mention that she felt completely stifled in her creativity!

She often wondered, “If God made me in his perfection, then why did he curse me with gifts?” No one could ever answer this question for her, so she shut down and went silent for a LONG time, until her early twenties when she finally learned to embrace her gifts.

The key was when she started to work on healing her inner self. Her knowledge and gifts started to expand from that moment forward. She also realized the more that she embraced a Holistic lifestyle, the more toxins left her body, which allowed her to heal faster and increase her brain power.

Many years ago, Spring came to know that one purpose in her journey was to open a school for kids like herself where they can learn to embrace their special gifts by being themselves in a supported Holistic environment. A place where they can expand their amazing talents. A warm place to be loved and supported.

Each and every one of us has special gifts; by incorporating a Holistic healing approach, gifts can expand, grow faster and go further.

of Our New School Will Be..

Unique Features of
Our New School Will Be..

EMF Frequency

For the health of the students and ourselves we will adopt a low EMF frequency in our school.

Research has shown the negative effects of EMF on the brain.

We will also provide each child with a VibesUp EMF deflector mat to help them ground deflect these harmful frequencies.

We also plan to have the school built with VibesUp mats underneath the flooring and under the drywall – even in the wall paint, especially in areas where high EMF areas will be.

Organic Allergy Friendly Cafeteria

We will have an Organic Cafeteria for our students, faculty, and eventually families.

Students will learn how to grow their own food and help to prepare some of the daily meals for themselves, which will be part of the Culinary Arts Program.

The school dietary plan will contain healthy meals free of gluten, dairy, chemicals and dyes.

There will be a large variety of vegetarian and vegan options as well. We also plan to accommodate those with any other food allergies.

Culinary Arts

Our culinary arts classes take place twice a month. Each month we choose either a fruit or a vegetable of the month. This class is SO MUCH FUN and the kids absolutely love it! Our Culinary Arts class also counts as part of a math and/or science lesson depending on the recipe chosen.

Class 1 – We learn all about the health benefits of the produce of the month. Chef Spring Rayne teaches the kids how to read a recipe and has them follow along
using the chosen produce. Students are allowed to substitute the recipe ingredients to make it more to their own liking. All recipes are Gluten Free, Dairy Free and/or Vegan

Class 2 –
Recipe Challenge Day! The students are instructed to use the chosen fruit or veggie of the month to make their own recipe. Ms. Spring assists the students in altering recipes to be Gluten free and/or Vegan.

Photography & Video
Stage Production

Students will have classes available to them such as photography, desktop publishing, and video and stage production that will help to assist with our open-mic Fridays.

Art, Music & Theater

It is our belief that the traditional school system is lacking in their art & music curriculum. It’s through art and music that our brains learn and connect.

We will have a theater group, as well as a music, and art department. Every Friday we will have an open mic day, where students are encouraged to get up on stage and perform something either solo or with friends.

Sports

We offer a variety of traditional sports such as soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, hiking to name just a few.

Our virtual students currently do exercises like Yoga, Pilates, hiking with families.

We will also include non-traditional alternative sports such as Yoga, Tai Chi, Eclectic Dance & Martial Arts in our brick-and-mortar school.

Sustainability

Starseed Holistic School will
at all times demonstrate its commitment both individually and as an educational organization by actively participating in our communities and integrating sustainable business practices wherever possible.

Our homeschoolers often visit farms and are encouraged to donate time.

Community

We will be a part of the Adopt-A-Grandparent program so children and elderly can love and learn from each other. This has shown to have such beneficial results for everyone involved.

We will have a community garden and recycle program as part of our sustainability program.
